During the Spring and Fall Seasons, recreational students choose the classes they want to take and come to class following the schedule. Team students follow a set curriculum of classes and spend much more time in the studio. These classes are set by the studio, but team dancers are welcome to add classes to their schedule if they have the time.
Summer sessions are comprised of camps. Depending on the dancers age, they attend 2 hours, 4 hours, or six hours monday through Friday for a two week session. There is a studio showcase for parents on the Saturday after the session ends. Call the studio for more information.
We make paying your tuition as easy as humanly possible. Everyone registered at Steps on 65th Movement Studios must have a valid credit or debit card on file in our encrypted system. At the beginning of each month, that month's tuition is deducted from your financial institution. Whether recreational or team, all tuition is due on the first of the month. For purchases, such as dance wear, shoes, costumes, etc, the purchase price is deducted from your account at the time of purchase. Recital fees, choreography fees, competition fees, and any fees associated with performances will be charged at the time of registration.
Every dancer in the studio is entitled to two makeup classes per season. If your child misses a class, they can take any other class in their age category to make up for the lost time.
